Two words: Thank God!
Before my blogging days, I’d kept up on the news and technology of what people were doing to blog, wordpress, blogger, etc. One of the things that I remembered from those days was the All In One SEO Pack. So what did I do even before I installed WordPress? I went on Google and looked up the All In One SEO Pack to make sure I could find it. In a way it was the straw that broke the camel’s back and pushed me towards blogging. It was kinda like “phew the plug-in still exists, guess its time to install WordPress.”
Upon flipping through the SERPs I found out that the plug-in did exist, but that the developer, Uberdose, was out. Great just as I get into this, the most powerful tool for WordPress goes down the tube. For some reason I continued to scroll down the page, and what did I see? A recent post with the title All In One SEO Pack Finds New Developer and I jumped for joy! Finally I wouldn’t have to do all the SEO hands on, the pack still exists, and is still being updated.
Just wanting to make sure things I wasn’t seeing things I jumped back on Google to make sure. Sure enough, HackWordPress was there right behind ImBloggingThat with the news. So the new guy working on the plug-in is hallsofmontezuma, now myself being new to this, I don’t know squat about him but at least he’s working on the plug-in. Anyone else know anything about him? Good? Bad? We’ll see?
